We love all the men in our life. For all the last-minute gift shoppers out there, here are some healthy gift ideas to get your father—or your favorite dad figure (aka husband or significant other)—this Father’s Day.
Since all active dads are unique, here are some of our favorite gift ideas that range from smart technology to smart buys for all the dads out there.
1.) All-Around-Outdoors Dad
Keep him hydrated while he hikes, bikes or runs with a SHOLDIT Hydrosport Vest. With its compression fit, convertible sport vest it’s designed for the guy on the go so he can carry his cell phone, wallet, keys, energy snacks and hydration that is piped in through the best.
2.) Running Dad
If he wants to stay visible during early morning and evening runs, get him a pair of RunLites Gloves. The gloves feature built-in rechargeable LED lights to help him see and been seen. There are two brightness settings, a palm pocket for storage. They are available in half- and full- length styles.
3.) SUP Dad
If he loves stand-up paddleboarding but doesn’t want to haul a board around every time he hits the lake or the shore before or after work, check out Tower Paddleboard’s Adventurer 1 iSUP, an inflatable 9-foot, 10-inch board that rolls up when he’s done. Get the board, paddle and pump.
4.) Golfing Dad
Try the Voice Caddie Sc200 Swing Caddie. This portable device is a golfer’s best friend and measures the carry distance, swing speed, ball speed and “smash” factor along with the air pressure and temperature. There are three modes: practice, target (sending the yardage on the club of his choice to see his accuracy) and approach (which works with the sand wedge to work on approach shots.) A voice distance output feature will automatically tell the golfer the distance after each shot.
5.) Fishing Dad
If you want to find him reasonably priced waders that cost less than $300, check out the Orvis Silver Convertible-Top Waders. Made of four-layer nylon fabric, the waders can convert from waist-high version without remove the suspenders. Plus there multiple pockets — including a flip out waterproof interior for smartphone.
6.) Cycling Dad
If he’s a Century rider who likes to get in hundreds of miles on his bike, consider the waterproof, windproof Showers Pass’ Men’s Elite 2.1 jacket. There are seven venting options to make it breathable and reflective trim with a large back pocket for plenty of storage and an audio port for a cell phone via a front chest pocket.
7.) Needs-More-Sleep Dad
Give him some restful sleep so he can get in the workout he needs with the Oregon Scientific DreamScience Brainwave Oriented Sleep Companion. He can relax with this alarm clock that couples brainwave technology with mood lights and 20 nature-themed soundscapes to help everyone destress.
